Masaoki received a Travel Award from the University of Washington School of Medicine Committee for Minority Faculty Advancement (CMFA) to attend the 2014 Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Minority Faculty Career Development Seminar in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
