Masaoki’s paper on the cancer-preventive effects of ATR inhibition was published online in PNAS: “Protection from UV-induced skin carcinogenesis by genetic inhibition of the ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3-related (ATR) kinase.” This study was featured in the article “UW Medicine study finds caffeine guards against certain ultraviolet-induced skin cancers at molecular level” in UW News.
